On Sunday, Nov. 10th in the Stanhope Building, Carriage Hills Resort, approximately 40 people from throughout the township attended a very comprehensive presentation on the Oro Moraine by Mike Jones of Azimuth Environmental, Barrie.
The audience was fully engaged in the two-hour session through a steady exchange of probing questions and informative answers.
Is the Oro Moraine a sustainable source of our drinking water? Yes, with continued monitoring and serious consideration in planning future development - but we shouldn't be complacent!
This was undoubtedly one of the best and also the last in the 2019 Speaker Series presented by AWARE Oro-Medonte.
