Sarah McLachlan delivers emotional performance (3 photos)

Multiple Juno, Grammy winner plays sold-out show at Casino Rama

Cue the tears.

Some wept quietly while others openly sobbed during Sarah McLachlan’s sold-out concert Thursday night at Casino Rama.

And the winner of nine Junos and three Grammys wasn’t apologizing.

“The darker, the more depressing, the sadder — it makes me feel so happy,” McLachlan, best known for her emotional ballads, told the audience.

That statement came before she played one of her lighter songs: Loving You is Easy.

McLachlan wasn’t pushing any new projects; she was simply relishing the opportunity to get back on the road and perform.
