School’s out for the summer ... are you ready for it?
With the end of school upon us, we are encouraging parents to take their children and teens to the library to sign up for one of our THREE reading clubs. Reading this summer gives you a chance to win cool prizes!
We also have free daily summer programs happening at the Ramara Centre Library Branch. Be sure to sign up today as spaces are limited!

Let’s get outdoors this summer and get active! Find your passions by trying different sports, participating in teams, building skills and making friends! *On days with inclement weather (rain /high temperatures), this program will be held indoors.*

Do you know your way around the Dewey Decimal system? Check out different sections of our non-fiction as we create art, make science experiments, learn about the past and more! This program will keep you on your toes!
Books with Buster!

Wednesday, July 11 to August 15 at 10:30 a.m.
Join us in welcoming back Buster the Pug from St. John’s Ambulance Therapy Dog program to the Ramara Centre branch! Children will sign up for a 30-minute block, giving them a chance to bond with the animal, read in a safe and non-judgmental environment and build confidence in their literacy abilities! These spaces will go fast, so please sign up ASAP!

Make some noise! In our library, we like to have fun – even though it may be crazy at times! We’re going to shake our sillies out, practice yoga, make instruments and more. Will you find your passion in music?

It’s baaack? After a successful first summer program, we are bringing the trucks back. Come and see your favourites and perhaps something new. Learn about each driver’s job, as well as their vehicle, up close and personal!

Scavenger Hunt
Come into either library branch to participate in a fun scavenger hunt! Changing weekly, hunt for favourite Pokemon, Disney, and other characters. Drop-in program.
Legomania
All ages welcome (under 9 must have a parent/guardian/sibling 12+ with them). Can you handle our LEGO challenge of the day? Bring a friend and test out your skills while building crazy creations. Drop-in program. Materials provided.
