Noah Chamberlain, Jonny Lafleur, and Emmett Lee could likely give a class on life lessons.

The trio were out trick or treating Halloween night when they came upon an empty bowl of candy.

Rather than leave, they each reached into their bags and pulled an assortment of candy and chips to replenish the bowl. A home security camera captured the interaction.

“Jonny, Noah and Emmett are just all-around great kids,” Jonny’s father Alex Lafleur says.

“They always want to help out. In this case, they just saw an opportunity to do a selfless act."

Lafleur, who is rightfully proud of the trio’s actions, says he didn’t even know about the incident until someone shared it with him on Facebook.

But he says he’s not surprised at all by his 12-year-old son’s selfless act and the humbleness he exhibited afterwards by keeping it to himself.

“Honestly, it’s really just him being who he is,” Lafleur says, noting Jonny is in Grade 7 at Bayview Public School.

“He really wants to help other and pay it forward.”

Joel Andrews posted the video found below.

"Gotta say a big shout out to Jonny and his buddies!" Andrews wrote on Facebook. "Tina and Alex you have a great kid. They saw that our candy box was empty and unloaded their chips for other kids.

"Let's keep things positive folks, not all kids are bad and the world needs more people like you and your buddies Jonny!!"
