NEWS RELEASE
SIMCOE COUNTY BRIDAL SHOW
*************************
The Simcoe County Bridal Show returns Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020.

After two years at the Barrie Molson Centre, it will be moving to the Essa Agriplex in Thornton Ontario.

While most large annual bridal shows in Ontario have either cancelled or rescheduled until 2021, the producers of the Simcoe County Bridal Show, KB Productions Inc., were able to pivot from the existing plans at the Sadlon Arena in Barrie, to an outdoor venue that offers plenty of space and protection from the elements.

The show will change from its 2-day format to a single day event running from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. In order to ensure attendance does not exceed the current Covid-19 maximums allowable, ticketing will be sold in assigned time blocks eliminating wait times and insuring safe spacing for vendors, attendees and staff.

All Covid-19 protocols put in place were presented to the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit who have approved the event to move forward.

The Simcoe County Bridal Show is in its third year and last year grew to 94 vendors making it Central Ontario’s largest bridal show. This year vendor spaces will be capped at no more than 35 booths to help manage the number of people on the floor.

“The wedding industry has and continues to take a big hit due to Covid-19 with hundreds of weddings being cancelled the local wedding industry and locally engaged couples need this show more than ever,” says Kristine Barton, owner of KB Productions.

“The Simcoe County Bridal Show allows couples to meet and obtain information and ideas from local vendors, and can even book services at the show.”

You can expect to see vendors in the following categories wedding venues, planners, caterers, cake makers, bridal salons, DJs, photographers, décor and rentals, florists, officiants, travel, invitations, health & beauty and much more.

Other show highlights include:

  • Hourly giveaways
  • Vendor bridal show exclusive discounts and contests.
  • Free parking, free wedding magazines, and free samples while supplies last.

We are excited to welcome our engaged couples, their families and friends, to join us at the Essa Agriplex on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. to meet with vendors who are ready to answer all of your questions and book their services on the spot.
