The Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association’s Tuesday group visited the Strachan Tract of the Simcoe County Forest near Bass Lake Side Road and the Seventh Line of Oro-Medonte Township this past week. Club members retrieved their snowshoes from the basement for this hike - and were rewarded with sunny and cool temperatures and a trek through a beautiful tract of forest.

Saturday April 21 promises to be excellent weather for our public hike leaving from the Regan House parking lot of Scout Valley at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join us as we walk through this iconic Orillia park. Just show up or call 705-325-1065 for further information.
