ORILLIA RECREATION CENTRE COMMITTEE

The Orillia Recreation Centre Committee was thrilled to make a pair of fund-raising announcements recently at the West Street site where the Orillia Recreation Centre is being built.
The TD Canada Trust (in downtown Orillia) donated $50,000 from the TD Canada Trust Friends of the Environment Foundation (Simcoe, Muskoka chapter) for the naming rights to the outdoor walking trail that will meander around the property at 255 West. St. S.
In addition, Artech Promotional Products, a West Street neighbour, stepped up with a $20,000 donation for the right to name the men's and ladies' change rooms within the recreation centre.
These are the latest in a string of sponsorships that have been committed to the new facility, which will open next year.
