The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the swimming advisories at Couchiching Beach, located at Couchiching Beach Park, and Moose Beach, located at J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park, have been lifted.

Swimming advisories were issued by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on Aug. 11, 2020, due to higher than normal bacteria counts at both beaches.

All three swimming areas in Orillia are now open for swimming. This includes Couchiching Beach, Moose Beach and Portage Bay.
