ORILLIA SCOTTISH FESTIVAL COMMITTEE

The Orillia Scottish Festival committee is hosting a Trivia Pub Night at the Orillia Legion’s Vimy Lounge on March 28 in support of the 41st annual Orillia Scottish Festival.
This year’s annual event that celebrates everything Scottish will be held July 20-22 at Couchiching Beach Park. The event always begins with a popular parade that features top-notch bagpipers from all over the province. There are also many vendors, sheep herding and other competitions. The park is always packed when the event culminates with its Mass Bands event at this family-friendly festival.
Registration for the Trivia Pub Night is open to teams of four at a cost of $40 with the option to add up to two players for $10 per person (to a maximum of six players). Doors open at 7 p.m. with the first question at 7:30 p.m.

Door prizes and bragging rights are up for grabs. The Legion is located at 255 Mississaga St. E. at Orillia’s waterfront.
