Business owners, particularly those who own or oversee buildings or infrastructure won’t want to miss this workshop on the ROI or the Return on Investment of Sustainability. 

There is a proven ‘here and now’ return on eco-friendly, waste-reducing, energy-saving practices and workshop participants will takeaway practical, actionable insights that will further the longer-term sustainability and ROI of their enterprises.

This fact-packed workshop will be facilitated by Bob Willard, a leading expert on quantifying and selling the business value of business sustainability strategies. 

Willard draws his business and leadership experience from his 34-year career at IBM Canada to engage the business community in proactively avoiding risks and capturing opportunities by using smart environmental, social, and governance strategies. 

Willard has received countless accolades and awards for his work in the field of business sustainability. He has authored six books, has given more than 1,300 presentations on the subject and serves on a number of relevant boards. He received a PhD in sustainability from the University of Toronto (2005) and resides in Ontario.

Sustainable Orillia, in partnership with the City of Orillia’s Economic Development group is proud to host this unique opportunity for local business leaders to come together on this important topic for a few hours. The ROI of Sustainability workshop will be held on from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019. The workshop is being held in the Brooks Board Room at Orillia’s City Hall and includes a networking lunch. Tickets are $35 per person.
