Warming stations remain open

Due to the extreme cold, the city is continuing to open warming stations for public use. Residents are encouraged to visit the following locations during regular hours of operation to warm up during these exceptionally cold temperatures:

Orillia City Centre - 50 Andrew St. S.

Orillia Public Library - 36 Mississaga St. W.

Rotary Place - 100 University Ave.

The warming centres will be open for the duration of this extreme cold warning/winter weather advisory. The Lighthouse located at 48 Peter St. S. will also open its doors overnight to anyone needing relief from the cold. Further extensions will be posted on the city's website and through social media if necessary.
