City of Orillia waste collection trucks have been taken off the road today due to poor weather and driving conditions. There will be no collection of garbage, recycling or green bin/yard waste on Feb. 25. 2019. Collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week (weather permitting).
Monday’s collection will occur on Tuesday Feb. 26, Tuesday’s regular collection will occur on Wednesday, Feb. 27 etc. The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, March 4, 2019. When waste collection resumes, make sure collection drivers can see your garbage, recycling and compost bins. This means you may need to dig your set out materials out of the snow banks to ensure visibility.
