Special weather statement in effect for:
- Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
- Midland - Coldwater - Orr Lake
- Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago
A messy mix of winter weather to ring in the New Year.
Precipitation is expected to move into the area this evening. A snowfall accumulation ranging from 2 to 10 cm is likely along with a risk of freezing rain.
There is also a possibility that some areas will climb above the freezing mark for a period of time overnight resulting in precipitation changing to rain.
Difficult travel conditions are possible from this evening into Tuesday morning.
