Are you ready for some fun? Tired of staying in the house? Have we got a fun day planned for you. Westmount Fun Fair (Westmount Congregation, 23 Westmount Dr. S.), to be held on June 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is chock full of fun for the whole family.
Games for both kids and adults. Pick up a treasure map for the kids, complete the games, and find the treasure. Have your face painted, visit Beardy the Pirate, and he may make you a balloon sword. Swing on by the barbecue area for lunch. Strolling clowns will guide you to balloons for the kids. Check out the vintage car display, stop and listen to the musical entertainment. Life 100.3 will be doing a live remote as well.
We are fortunate to be able to supply parking for such a large event. Parking attendants will show you where to park, so that we will be able to accommodate multiple parking rows.
Behind the parking area, all of the booths will be set out in individual tents- a virtual tent city of shopping pleasure. We have been very diligent in booking some vendors this time who sell items which men will appreciate.
The church building itself will be open. Our delectable WCW bake table, and fudge booth will be located in the upstairs lounge, with WCW (Westmount Church Women) crafts located in the upper hall just outside the lounge door. Downstairs, in the auditorium, our shuffleboarders will be playing. Feel free to watch a game, or, better yet, join in. Don’t know how to play? They are more than willing to teach you. If you enjoy it, they would gladly accept you as a new member.
We will have greeters located just inside the front door of the church to direct you to where you want to go, and to answer questions. If you happen to be one of the first to visit the upstairs WCW area in the church, you will receive a free Westmount swag bag. (One per family, please.)
Both admission and parking are free. Come and join us to celebrate the end of the school year, and a return to fun.
