Arch rivals unite to support fellow hockey player in need

North Central Predators raise more than $7,000 to support player with Stage 3, non-Hodgkins Lymphoma

NEWS RELEASE
NORTH CENTRAL PREDATORS

On Friday Dec. 14, a scheduled minor peewee hockey game between the North Central Predators AAA hockey team and their rivals, the Barrie Colts, turned in to so much more.

A friendly wager between North Central Predators’ President Roger Crandell and Barrie Colts AAA President Hugh Campbell saw them both shave their heads to show support for Wyatt Delage, a AAA Barrie hockey player who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

In just three days, under the leadership of Crandell, the Predators’ community (parents, sponsors, the association as well as members of our hockey communities) raised more than $7,000 in support of Wyatt.

We would like to take a moment to thank all of those who sent donations, best wishes and messages of support for Wyatt!
