The Orillia Lakers juvenile boys swept all four games this weekend at Hoopdome to take gold.

The boys got stronger as the tournament went on and really showed signs of coming together leading up to Provincial championships next month in Sault Ste. Marie.

In the final game against East York, the opponents were overmatched as Orillia rolled to a 77-38 victory. Although short-handed due to injuries, the Lakers poured on the defence from start to finish and pushed the pace by turning steals into fast break baskets.

Ben Long led Laker scorers with 23 points, followed by Logan Monaghan (12), Aaron McDonald (10), Joan Colominas (9), Ben Trumble (9), Will Quigley (6), Ben Marzano (5), John James (3) and Aiden Hoffman (2).

The boys will face a tougher test when they go to London this weekend.
