Lawn bowlers go back in time to aid Mariposa House Hospice (4 photos)

Club's 50/60s themed event raises $1,200 for hospice; Club also hosted an Open Pairs Tournament this week

The Orillia Lawn Bowling Club held a 50’s/60’s themed luncheon at the clubhouse on July 20.

All the proceeds went to the new Orillia Mariposa House Hospice.

The place was jumping with rock 'n' roll music, there was 50’s memorabilia everywhere and a wonderful buffet lunch and barbecue was enjoyed by all.

All the food was donated by local businesses! The net proceeds came to $1,200 for this very worthy cause!
