ORILLIA FIGURE SKATING CLUB

Congratulations to Daniel Patriquin (Orillia Figure Skating Club) and his partner Sophia Gover (Barrie Skating Club) on their fantastic season!
Patriquin and Gover won silver medals in the Ontario Sectional Championships in early in November. They then competed at the Skate Canada Challenge in Edmonton on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 where they finished fifth in Canada and first in Ontario.
This placement earned them an Invitation to the Canada Winter Games being held in Red Deer, Alberta from Feb. 15 to March 3.
The skaters would like to thank their families, coaches and skating clubs for all the support they received this season.
