Two Orillia teams travelled to Bracebridge recently for the Bracebridge Muskoka Secondary School annual senior girls' volleyball tournament.
The Twin Lakes Secondary School Thunderbirds and Orillia Secondary School Nighthawks teams both went undefeated in the round-robin and playoff rounds until meeting in the final.
In the championship contest, the Nighthawks took the first game with some tough serving, and then Twin Lakes came alive in the second, tying it at 20-20. The Nighthawks, however, grabbed the win in the end, but things are looking promising for both teams' seasons this year.
