ORILLIA GIRLS HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

The Orillia Hawks Bantam B team, sponsored by The Multicare Group, punched their ticket to the Lower Lakes Championship this weekend with a 2-0 win over the Vaughan Flames to claim the Central Division title. The Hawks won Game 1 of the three-game series by a 3-0 score. Game two saw the Hawks and Flames battle to an action-packed scoreless tie before the Hawks finished the Flames off in Game 3.

The Hawks will now play the other four division winners from Oakville, Sarnia, Scarborough and Chatsworth. The round-robin tournament is played out of the Canlan Ice Sports Complex in North York and starts Friday, March 23 with the medal games played Sunday, March 25.
