Orillia Lady Kings battle to big wins in recent action

The U9 Little Lady Kings are coming together for some great lacrosse action.

The Stoutts Re/Max brokered a big win, with the Beaudin girls dominating the game sheet. Isabella Beaudin came out flying with four goals, while Zoe Beaudin and Beya Beaudin each scored a pair. Scarlett Stoutt, Norah Whelan and Delilah Lafraugh were sharpshooters, adding goals to the 11-2 win over BMO Nesbitt Burns team yellow. Kayla Beard and Kate O’Neil were strong on the field for BMO, scoring goals of their own.

Northern Elite Lacrosse red team loaded up the game sheet with goals against St. Louis Bar and Grill. Isabelle Oullette-Darling put on a scoring clinic with seven goals to lead Northern Elite to a 10-3 win. Harper MacDonell scored two and Fiona McKinny added a goal while Baylee Barker had two assists for the winning team.

St. Louis Bar and Grill served up a strong showing, with Baileigh Brain scoring two goals, and Talia Gurrera’s quick feet added one more. Assists were added by Arabella Edwards and Norah Belviso, who played great defence, and Eleanor Delong, whose practice is paying off.

In the U11 division, the Lady Kings put on a show. Team Micks overtook BMO Nesbitt Burns Green with a 4-2 win. Langley Duffy-Wilkinson scored twice for Team Micks, while singles were added by Isla Quinn and Mara McKinney. BMO Nesbitt Burns fought back with goals by Leighton Mainer and Brielle Hodgkinson-Armstrong, with a strong showing in net by Kinsley Driedger.

The Hillson Eyerillians were wide eyed as 2nd Century Source for Sports blew by them with a score of 8-2. Abigail Catterall and Karis Davies focused in to score for Hillson, while Julia Drury made some big saves in net. Brooklyn Reed led the winning team with a hat trick, and Charlotte Cronshaw and Isabella Weaver each scored a pair while Rebekah Lacroix scored a single. Maya Favaro played strong between the pipes.

The U13/U15 division didn’t disappoint again with some fast action and high-scoring games. The BMO Nesbitt Burns Red Team dominated Strachan and Morris with a 12-2 win. Ashleigh Hester, Lexy Dysarz, Emersyn McLaughlin and Billie Rouse each scored two goals for the winning team, while singles were tallied by Chelsea Currie, Elyse Faulkner, Kaydence Thomson and Jorja Davies. Cadence Nixon played strong in net, getting an assist for her team as well. Alison Rolston and Brooklyn Page kept their team on the game sheet with a goal apiece.

Mariposa Landscaping showed their hard work by battling to a 7-7 tie with Mid Ontario Disposal. Mariposa goals were scored by Kady Shelswell, Zoey Gauthier and the speedy Ellie Lynch, while Makenna Maracle and Ava Rouse each scored two goals, with a nice assist by Sarah O’Neil. Mid Ontario Disposal dumped in seven goals of their own, with Mya Roe and Jadyn Maracle leading the scoring with two goals each, and single goals scored by Evynn Stanford, Katie Bunting and Anna Fagan.
