The Orillia Lawn Bowling Club (OLBC) hosted another in-house Club Fun Day tournament on Aug. 7, sponsored by Jim Wilson Chev/GMC.
Lovely weather contributed to a great day of fun and good sportsmanship.
Results from the tournament were as follows:
- 3 game overall winners: Sue O'Neill and Pauline MacDonald
- 2 game high winners: 1st - Brian Minns, Tony Laberge, and Trudi Haertel; 2nd - Pat Kane and Mike Richard
- 1 game high winners: Tied - Edna Pate and Fran Woodhurst, Carole Francey and Harold Graham
In additional tourney action last week, the OLBC hosted an Ontario Lawn Bowling Association Mixed Triples tournament in which Orillia took home top honours.
- First place: Orillia - Steve Millar, Raija Dizio, Brian Minns
- Second place: Muskoka - David Ferguson, Marion, Brenda
- Third place: Beeton Bill, Scott, Sue Zylski, Debbie Morrison
- Fourth place: Midland - Kevin, O’Shea, Sarah, O’Shea, Serge
