The Orillia Lawn Bowling Club was ready for another active season including plans to welcome community residents to experience a sport that provides gentle exercise in a social environment and at a very reasonable cost!

Unfortunately, all that changed due to the pandemic!

To ensure the health and safety of its members and the community at large, the club’s Board of Directors has decided not to open for bowling this season. It was a difficult decision as the club relies on membership fees to cover many fixed expenses.

The activity seen at the club so far this year has been that of a dedicated group of volunteers who are maintaining the “green”, lawns and gardens so they are available for a successful season of bowling next year.

We invite you to join us next spring for fun and friendly competition at the Orillia Lawn Bowling Club. Check out our website- orillialawnbowls.ca or view us on Facebook.
