A rainy morning didn’t stop local lawn bowlers from shining at an open pairs tournament sponsored by Mr. Appliance Saturday at the Orillia Lawn Bowling Club.
The team of Joan Davidson and Harold Graham won top prize at today's event.
Second place went to the team of Carol Francey and Bonnie Fogarty, while third place went to Ross Gilmore and Pam Kimber.
The team of Lynn Stenton and Karl Leiber combined to finish in fourth spot, while Lynn Smith and Jean Trelford captured fifth spot.
The next event is an Australian Pairs tournament scheduled for Aug. 15 at the Commerce Road facility.
