RAMARA ROCKETS

The Ramara Rockets U18 girls soccer team has started the season with a win and a tie.
The team, now sponsored by Beauty Supply Outlet Orillia, defeated Huntsville #2 in its first game, 10-0. Avery Dobson and Mattea Wafelbakker scored three each while Gabriella Chiaramida, Claire Lassaline, Krystal Priddle and Grace Dobson scored one each. Elaine Treash and Taylor Latimer shared the shutout.
The second game was a hard-fought tie against Barrie, ending 2-2. The Rockets' defence of Taylor Latimer, Kaitlyn Roberts, Carmen Barcelona, Grace Dobson and Gabriella Chiaramida were solid in keeping the Barrie team away from the net. Claire Lassaline and Krystal Priddle (with a minute left) scored one each. Mattea Wafelbakker and Avery Dobson kept the Barrie defenders busy.
