Rushmount Pony Jumpers are well on their way to the Royal in November.

Every week, these dedicated young ladies prepare their ponies to compete against the other ponies all trying to qualify for a prestigious spot to compete at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto the first weekend in November.

This past weekend, the team was in great form with lots of top ribbons, including Sydney Freeman on No Rhyme No Reason winning a class.

Hayden McCahon on Silver Rush finished second in the $500 Pony Jumper Class, missing the win by 100th of a second.

Mikayla Burns on I Love Lucy finished second in the Optimal Time Class and Ellie Ratlciff finished fourth in the optimal time, while Freeman won 5th.

An added bonus was a surprise visit from Captain Canada himself, Ian Millar. The kids got a photo with Ian in between classes.

There are only two more shows left to solidify who will be going to the Royal.
