Hayden McCahon took her mount Don’t Let anything Stop You, a five-year-old warmblood to this competition. This was a great accomplishment in itself as the horse is big and young while Hayden is small and young. Both did amazing, taking a 4 fault round in the Speed class.

Sophie Naylor on Stella Ella Ola won a 10th place in the Medal Class. Devon Cailting on Trompe Le Monde won top 10 ribbons and a victory gallop for this duo as well.

Rushmount had two team members chosen to represent the Georgian Bay Zone in the MAD BARN Team Challenge.

A team of four from the zone competed against all other zones to determine the best of the best.

Devon Caitling and Kaylin Clarke on Silver Rush were first and second overall in the .90m Jumper division which granted them two places on the team. The other riders were chosen as the first-place riders from Georgian Bay Zone in the 1m and 1.10m Division.

The riders were to jump a jumper course and the top three scores were kept. The team then had to participate in a jump-off on a shorter course.

The Georgian Bay team rode a clean round, going in to the jump-off with a perfect score. Kaylin on Silver Rush was the anchor rider as chosen by the Chef D’Equipe of the team which in this case was the 1.10 rider of the team.

Georgian Bay was the only team to earn a perfect score again - with zero faults from all horses scores.

The Georgian Bay Team won the Mad Barn Challenge and were presented by the Mad Barn Sponsors their awards. The team won $1,500 towards their banquet, blankets for all horses as well as large neck ribbons.

The class was a huge success and so much fun as thousands of people from all zones cheered their specific teams.
