Sport Orillia is hosting its annual general meeting at 7 p.m. on Oct. 16 in the meeting room at Rotary Place.
All are welcome to attend.
At this meeting, potential changes to the organization’s constitution can be considered and new members are welcome.
Sport Orillia was formed in 2014 from a core group of people representing 18 different sports organizations and educational institutions.
Sport Orillia oversees the Orillia Sports Hall of Fame, which celebrates local athletes and builders who have contributed to the development and success of sport in Orillia and area.
When the new Orillia Recreation Centre opens, the Orillia Sports Hall of Fame will finally have a permanent home.
The deadline to nominate worthy candidates for the 2020 class of inductees for the Orillia Sports Hall of Fame is Nov. 30.
