Orillia Terriers' captain Dylan Palomaki scored five goals on the weekend, sparking his squad to a pair of road wins.

The Orillia McLean and Dickey Terriers travelled north this past weekend and came away with two low-scoring wins against Huntsville on Friday and Muskoka on Saturday in Provincial Junior Hockey League action.

In Huntsville on Friday the visiting Terriers skated to a 4-1 victory sparked by captain Dylan Palomaki’s hat trick and a goal from Caden Carroll. Aiden Jerry was in net and picked up the win.

On Saturday in Muskoka the Terriers came from behind and squeaked out a 3-2 win. The Dogs fell behind 2-0 in the second period before Palomaki scored to bring the Terriers to within one after two periods of play.

Again it was Palomaki who would tie things up. Terriers netminder Nathan Hunter would stop a penalty shot half-way through the third period, setting the stage for Lleyton McLean to score a powerplay goal to give the Terriers their first lead.

The visitors managed to hold on for the win and keep pace with division-leading Alliston and Stayner in the standings.

Paolmaki led the way on the weekend offensively with five goals, while both Jerry and Hunter picked up wins between the pipes.

The Terriers (10-2-1) are back on home ice Saturday night against Innisfil (6-9-0-1). Game time at Rotary Place in west Orillia is 7:30 p.m.
