The U10 Terriers sponsored by Julie Emery RBC Mortgages have started their season with back to back tournaments in November.
During the first weekend they participated in the Owen Sound Silver Stick tournament. A hard loss against Centre Wellington Fusion and a win against the New Hamburg Huskies rounded out Friday's games. The Saturday morning game had the team playing against the hometown Owen Sound Attack and losing 4-3.
Saturday evening the Terriers faced the Barrie Colts and pulled out a win of 6-4 to end the tournament with two wins and two losses.
The second weekend the U10 Terriers participated in the Jim Wilson Chevrolet Buick GMC Tournament. Friday started off with wins against the Innisfil Winterhawks and the Glancaster Bombers. The Saturday game was highlighted by a shutout for goalie Caden Dixon leading towards the win against Halton Hills Thunder.
Sunday's championship game was a rematch against the Innisfil Winterhawks. The fourth win of the weekend secured the Terriers first place overall for the tournament.
