ORILLIA CHANNEL CATS SWIM CLUB

The Orillia Channel Cats Swim Club recently attended the Collingwood Clippers Development Meet. Thirty swimmers from the Jr. Novice, Sr. Novice, Bronze and Silver training groups were in attendance.
“This is a great meet for our Jr. Novice swimmers to see what racing is like. Our swimmers handled their nerves quite well,” said Coach Tatum Haslem.
Some swimmers with more racing experience can use development meets to try some different events.
“These meets provide a great opportunity for swimmers to achieve times in events they have never swum," said Coach Meredith Thompson-Edwards.
