ABOUT
Canada’s first ever drive-in drag show, Drive-In Drag Show Canada, will be coming to Barrie’s Sunset Drive-in this Friday Sept. 25.

The live, family friendly variety show stars Miss Conception, a “Female Delusionist” and one of Canada's busiest drag performers who is fresh off a pride performance featuring Canadian comedians Colin Mochrie and Andrea Martin.

Miss Conception live sings a mix of diva pop hits and classic drive-in move songs that are sure to delight both young and old. Joining her will be Canada’s French-Canadian contortionist drag queen Jezebel Bardot, the amazing Lady Face who also live sings and has a range that goes from Rock to Opera, and Jodie James.

The show takes place on a stage while being projected on the drive-in’s big screen and features a mix of live singing, lip sync fun, comedy and costumes.

“This is a first-of-its-kind show in Canada,” says Jaime Crouch, owner of Splash Events and the performer behind the Jodie James persona. “Drive in Drag shows have only just started in Vegas since the current period of social distancing. It's a way for us to all get out, enjoy a fantastic, entertaining show, and still remain safe.”

The show’s producers Splash Events Inc. and Dragging Across Canada will be donating a portion of ticket sales to the RVH Foundation.

Organizers are strictly following COVID19 measures set forth by the Federal Government, Provincial Governments and local government health units. Details can be found on the Sunset Drive-in website.
