Canadian Red Cross: The Canadian Red Cross is offering free Transportation to COVID-19 vaccination clinics. This service is primarily for older adults aged 65+, however we recognize that other vulnerable groups may be experiencing barriers to transportation, so we have opened this service to any adult who is eligible for the vaccination.

The Canadian Red Cross also offers the Friendly Phone Call Program. The Friendly Calls Program is a phone check-in service for adults who may be experiencing feelings of isolation and loneliness. Calls are made on a regular basis by volunteers who provide supportive listening, social interaction, and emotional support to the client. There is no charge for this program.

For more information on these programs, or to get registered, please call our office at 705-721-3313.

Parks Reminder: Please ensure to follow the provincial restrictions on open and closed park amenities displayed below. The provincial guideline states that parks may be open for the purposes of permitting persons to walk or otherwise move through the park or recreational area. We ask that you please obey this guideline and refrain from group gatherings/picnics at park locations.
