An area realtor celebrated the grand opening of its new Midland office with a major donation to the local hospital foundation.
While opening its office on King St. in Midland this week, Faris Team Real Estate Brokerage presented the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation with a cheque for $20,000.
Earlier this year, Faris Team made a three-year commitment to become the presenting sponsor for the foundation's annual gala. This was the first year of the partnership, with Faris Team presenting the Foundation’s Power of Giving Virtual Gala in August.
Faris Team has been operating in Simcoe County for 13 years. After building its first office in Barrie, it added a “second dedicated client experience centre” in North Simcoe that was previously located in Wyebridge.
“Today, we have six offices, but the Midland area remains a key part of our history and growth,” said CEO and broker Mark Faris, who noted his firm only hires realtors who live in the areas they serve.
“We’re excited to better serve clients through this new facility.”
