BELTER, Julie Catherine (nee Cashman)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 8,2022 at the age of 92. Julie, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Belter. Loving mother of Wayne Belter (Vala Monestime Belter) of Mattawa and Valerie Orviss (the late John Orviss) of Collingwood. Proud grandmother of Katya (John Fudala), Sasha and Misha (Micheline Hall). Dear sister of the late Loena Arnold and Pat Cashman.  Julie and Ken, formerly of Levack, wintered for years in Mission, Texas and Victoria, B.C. They enjoyed travelling through Canada, and from Alaska to Ireland and Australia. In her younger years Julie loved to cross country ski and hike. She was proud of her 35 years of volunteer service at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. She was always active and a friend to many.  She spent many hours knitting little dolls for children in Mexico, was an avid reader and made the best Christmas pudding with plum sauce. Julie will be remembered for being elegant, helpful, strong and kind.
