Passed away peacefully at the Getsidjij Enaawaad ECU (Rama Extended Care) in Rama on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the age of 81 years young.
Helen, beloved partner of Alfred Debassige (predeceased). Mother of John Snake (predeceased), Ava Bonia (predeceased), Donna Noganosh and Ferlin Bonia (Dale Lariviere). Special friends Becky Stiles (Wayne) and Mike Fountain (Terah). She was loved by grandchildren John Jr. Snake (meeg)(Leslie), Hallie Smoke (Nolan), Tim Shilling (Carmen), Ken Kavanaugh, Shannon George Tanner, Ty Bonia & Jamie & Erin Wilson. She was blessed with 11 great grandchildren who will proudly carry her into the future. Dear sister to Sanford Snake (predeceased), Larry Snake (predeceased) and sister-in-law Clara and brother-in-law Don. Helen will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her extended family Chris Phesant, James Simcoe & Jeff MacDonald.

The late Helen Bonia will rest at the Rama Community Hall, Rama, ON on Monday from 1 - 3 pm and 5 - 7 pm and on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019 from 11am until time of service at 1 pm. Interment; Rama Cemetery, Rama. If desired, memorial donations to the ECU (Rama Extended Care) or the Rama Food Bank would be appreciated.
