It is with deep sorrow that the family of Sue Chrestensen (aka Dragon) announce her passing on August 31st after a brief battle with cancer. Sue is survived by Toni Jacobs, Ricki Jacobs, and predeceased by Tanner Wolfe Jacobs (2017).
Sue was a strong woman, with a kind heart, who touched the lives of many people through her work as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Counsellor (Santa Clara County Children’s Shelter), and more recently, as the Client Care Coordinator at North Simcoe Victim Services in Orillia, Ontario.
Toni and Ricki would like to thank all those who participated in the August 30th parade outside our home. What a wonderful display of love and respect from her friends, the Orillia Fire Department, and the Ontario Provincial Police who shared in the event. Sue (Dragon) was so happy to see you all, and was honoured by your salute.
To have known her was a treasure. To have been loved by her is beyond measure. Sue (Dragon) is already greatly missed by her family and her many friends in both Canada and the United States.
As per Sue’s request, a private family service will take place. Due to COVID, the family will hold a Celebration Life Ceremony when restrictions on gatherings are lifted.
