After a painful illness and recent diagnosis of esophagus & stomach cancer; surrounded by her children at the Mariposa House Hospice, Alma age 84, with the light of heaven shining in her blue eyes and an incredible pain-free smile, she was ‘welcomed home’ by all those waiting for her on May 26th, 2021.
Loving wife of 58yrs to the late Don Clark (2015). Cherished mother of Jean Clark (late Terry Teevens) of Orillia, Cynthia (Cindy) Clark of London, Bruce Clark of Orillia, and the late Brian Clark.

She dearly loved and was so proud of her grandchildren, Sydney Clark (fiancé Nick Braid) of Orillia and Brenden Clark (girlfriend Victoria Hill) of Peterborough. Alma was also an extended ‘forever’ mom to Sherri Clark in NB and to June Seymour of London. Lovingly referred to as a 2nd mom, Alma will be forever in the hearts of Caroline Berry, Linda Bell, Sandra Creighton, Nancy Bradd and so many others. Her love was easily given, the kettle on for tea, always caring for others and knitting socks and sweaters for everyone… that was Mom.

The youngest of 10 children to the late Alma (nee Knapp) & George Duff of Orillia. Alma was a dear sister to Barb Clark, Sadie Robertson, Edna Douglas, Violet Tye, Kay Lutes, Doris Caskenette, John Duff, Joe Duff, and Mary Elder, all predeceased. Alma will be deeply missed by brother-in-law George Clark (Sharon) of Strathroy, and her special nephew Rob Lutes (Gail) and niece Donna Middleton (late Mel) in addition to several other nieces & nephews. As a lifelong citizen of Orillia and member of the Moose Lodge, she will also be missed by several friends and neighbors.

Unfortunately, with the current COVID restrictions, only a small burial service will be held at the family plot at Hillsdale United Cemetery.
Jean, Cindy and Bruce would like to express their heartful gratitude to ALL the caring PSWs at the Helping Hands, the Nurses at Bayshore Nursing Healthcare Services, Palliative Nurse Deonne, Dr. Peter Daniels and Pastor Bill & June Fyvie; who all did everything possible to make mom’s final days and hours as comfortable as possible. In addition, a tremendous appreciation to the compassionate team at Mariposa House Hospice. Thank you all so very much!
If desired, Memorial Donations to the Mariposa House Hospice or any Healthcare Support, would be greatly appreciated.
Mundell’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements  (705) 325-2231.
