Passed away peacefully at home in her 80th year, with her beloved husband of 57 years, Bernard, by her side. Cherished mother of Brenda Goldsmith (Chuck) of Orillia and Mary-Lou Martinez (Lou) of Toronto. Loved dearly by her six grandchildren, Samantha, Mallory (Tyson), Emily, Jack, Zack and Dylan. Devoted daughter of the late John and Doris McIntaggart. Beloved sister of Wayne McIntaggart (predeaceased), Edward McIntaggart (predeceased), Raymond McIntaggart (Mary Leah), Mary Ross (Ken), Karen Emons (Ron Roberts), and Arlene Butler (Kurt Wilkie), and cherished friend of Cathy Dolan. Will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Diane was born in North Bay and grew up in Orillia and Uptergrove. She raised her family in Toronto before returning to Uptergrove in her retirement. Friends and relatives will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Parish Prayers said in the parlour at 6:45 pm. Then to St. Columbkille’s Church, Uptergrove (4993 ON-12, Ramara) for Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning, October 19th at 11 am. Interment: St. Columbkille’s Cemetery, Uptergrove.
