Peacefully at the Birchmere Retirement Residence in Orillia on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.
Born Margaret Elizabeth Clements in Orillia on February 5, 1929. Much loved wife of the late Merton Clarke. Dear mother of Larry Clarke and his wife Shelley Houser, Paul Clarke and his wife Joy, and Shelley Clarke and her husband Louie Devent.
Cherished grandmother of Kendra Clarke and her partner Marty Wanner, and Kelly McLean and her husband Tim McLean. Great grandmother to Maggie McLean.
Daughter of the late Russell J. Clements and Agnes (nee Ruthven). Predeceased by her brother Melville J. Clements and his wife Dorothy, her sister Dorothy A. Atkinson and her husband Elmer, and her youngest brother Walter Clements. Survived by her sister-in-law Florence Clements, and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. The Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia, L3V 1L1 (705-327-0221) from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
