Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family, at Hospice Simcoe on Thursday December 6, 2018 at the age of 73. Allan, formerly of Barrie, devoted father of Scott Cox (Tanya), Karen Wilson (Doug), Dana Dawson (Chad) and Steven Cox (Krista). Proud grandfather of Heather (Kyle), Steven, Rebekah, Andrew, Taylor, Elyssa, Keisha, Shaun, Jayden, Elliana, Annabelle, Landon, Addilyn and Gabriel. Son of Emerson and Georgina Cox. Brother of Robert Cox, Elizabeth Norell and Tammy Mitchell. Allan, a retired printing business owner, enjoyed boating and spending time at the Lefroy Harbour Marina. The family will welcome friends on Sunday December 16th from 2-4pm at the Lefroy Harbour Marina restaurant to celebrate his life.
Funeral service to be held in the chapel at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St N, Orillia on Monday December 17th at 11am following visitation beginning at 10am. Reception to be held after the service prior to burial at St. Andrews-St James Cemetery, Orillia.
