Passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on Sunday October 10, 2021 in his 92nd year.
Predeceased by his parents Rocco and Annunciata De Giacomo.
Loving brother to the late Vito De Giacomo. Cherished uncle of Rocco De Giacomo and Elizabeth De Giacomo (Larry), Judith Pillsbury (Adam) and Miranda De Giacomo.
Zio Salvatore was one of a kind. Five years ago, Vito with whom he lived and who was his brother died. Lay aside his shoes for slippers and the backwoods and trails for the comforts of home.
He is remembered as a sprite little man, fit as a fiddle with a cap under which he kept a photo of his dearly loved parents. Zio lived a contented life without labour or cares and to us he gave the blessing of caring, loving and protecting him. We will miss you Zio.
