(Member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Orillia; Member of the O.E.S, Lily of the Valley Chapter; Former Crane Operator at Dorr-Oliver-Long for 30 years)

It is with great sadness that we announce John's peaceful passing at his home in Orillia with family by his side, on Thursday, March 31st, 2022, in his 93rd year. John Devlin, beloved husband of 66 years to Joyce (nee Bain). Dad to Allan (Colleen) of Toronto and Lorna (Murray) Marshall of Orillia. Proud and loving grandpa to Kylie, Shelby, Allison, Lindsay, Erinn, and Cameron. Dear brother of Anne (Robert) Todd of Dunfermline, Scotland, and the late Margaret, Mariah, Nan, Willie, Jim, Betty, and Catherine, all predeceased, and all from Fife, Scotland. John will be missed by his sisters-in-law Sandra (Joe) Carscadden of Windsor and Margaret MacKenzie (Rennie, predeceased) of Metcalfe. John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Cremation to take place. A private family service will take place on Saturday, April 9th, at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Kelly Mollon and the CFH Palliative Care Team, nurses Dionne and Jacqueline, Bayshore HealthCare, Happy at Home and Home Instead for the tremendous support provided to enable the family to honour John’s wishes to remain in his home.
