It is with great sadness that Pam Allen and Chris Dixon announce the passing of their dear Mother, Pat Dixon.

Pat was in her 96th year and passed peacefully in her sleep at Champlain Manor on Sunday, April 22nd. Pat was exceptionally fortunate to have lived a long, healthy life and to have had a cherished and loving relationship with her husband Neil.

Pat was a WWII Veteran having served overseas with the RCAF at Air Ministry in London, England. She spoke often of being young and alone and of both the horrors and the excitement of being in London particularly during the London Blitz.

For many years Pat and Neil were partners at Whitney's Radio & Appliance Shop Limited, a business that was begun by Pat's Father. Many lifelong friends were made from within the Orillia community during these years.

Pat is survived by her twins Pam (Paul), Chris (Anne Marie), grandchildren David (Angela), Scott (Zhiying), Rebecca (Derrick) and Amy (David). She was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Owen and Mia. Pat was greatly loved by her family and will be remembered and missed every day.

She now stands, once again, by the side of her beloved Neil who made her life complete. A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held at Couchiching Golf and Country Club, 370 Peter St N, Orillia on Sunday May 27, 2018 from 11 AM - 3 PM
