Passed peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia, with family by her side, on Tuesday, January 15th in her 100th year. Dorothy Dowell, beloved wife for 65 year of Thomas Dowell (predeceased 2012). Loving mother of Gordon (Michele), Diane, Eric (predeceased) (Sandra) and David (Kathryn). Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Thank you to the Spencer House staff for their care, to Hospice Orillia for their special gifts during this sad time, and to her very loving daughter Diane who was always there for her. Friends and relatives will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Saturday, January 19th from 11 AM until 12 noon. A private family service will follow. If desired, memorial donations to Spencer House or Hospice Orillia would be gratefully appreciated.
