Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Champlain Manor on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019, in her 104th year.
Beloved wife of the late Horace Ego. Loving mother of Laury (Lorraine), Ray (Judy), Susan (Bruce) and Marjorie (predeceased) (Paul). Loving grandmother of Kristin, Kevin, Bryan, Sarah, Katie, Meagan, Laura, Jesse and step grandmother of Elisa and Coral. Cherished great grandmother of 15 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Marjorie Bywater, Sydney Shellswell, Arlanda Shellswell, Laurine Sears and Eva Lee. Alma will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Champlain Manor and the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for their care & compassion shown to mom.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 27th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday, February 28th from 1 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
