FINLAY, Gertrude 'Elaine'

Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Thursday March 7th 2019 in her 87th year. Elaine, of Oro-Medonte was born October 11th, 1932 in Haileybury ON to the late Robert and Gertrude McClanahan. Beloved wife of the late Doug Finlay. Loving and devoted mother of Kathy Finlay, Susan Finlay, and the late Jim Finlay. Dear sister of Elsie McClanahan, and Robert McClanahan. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Sunday March 17th, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donation may be made to the Charity of your choice.
