1981-2020
Sadly, on Saturday January 25th, 2020, Chris passed away at home. He was the much-adored son of David and Debbie (nee Whalen) Friesen. Predeceased by his loving grandparents. He left behind his beloved cousins, aunts, uncles and the multitude of old and new friends who were his “everything,” and we thank them for all the love they shared with him throughout his life. He will also be greatly missed by our beloved pets. Music was the passion in Chris’ soul, which he shared with so many people, both locally as well as through his beloved band Adrenechrome, many jams, gigs, roadtrips and albums. Long live his music.... Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Geneva Event Centre, 16 West St. S. Orillia, on Saturday February 1st, 2020, at 2:00pm. As an expression of sympathy, messages of condolences and memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Orillia SPCA through the Simcoe Funeral Home.
