Passed away at Victoria House 3 weeks before her 103rd birthday with family by her side.
Beloved wife of Archie Gilchrist (deceased 2009). Devoted mother of Mary Hester (Don predeceased) & Bob Cash, Reta Richardson (Ken predeceased), Pat & David Brennan, John Gilchrist & Bonnie Taylor. Much loved grandmother of Heather & Cameron Rodger, Michael Richardson & Shannon Zalac, Emma Gilchrist & Alex Breau, Peter Gilchrist. Great-Grandma to Jocelyn & Mark , Alyssa & Gavin, Alex, Harrison & William. Daughter of Bill & Pearl (Kett) Chisholm. Predeceased by sister Irene Hamill, and brothers Tom, Wallace & George. Ethel will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 2 PM in the chapel.
