Passed away peacefully at the Atrium Retirement Residence, Orillia surrounded by family on Thursday March 22nd, 2018 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Gilliam. Loving mother of Colborn Gilliam-deceased. Gail Howell, Charlotte Courvoisier-deceased (Leonard), Cindy Wright (Paul), and Connie Gilliam. Cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean, Mavis, Bruce, Gladys; predeceased by Gordon, Joseph, Don, and Ian. Edith will be lovingly remembered by her best friend Barb Finlay, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street East, Orillia on Tuesday March 27th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
